Good morning everyone. We just received word that Ren will be makig his move to the eastside of town, much close to home, and continue his journey at Dell Children’s Hospital. Specialists, private rooms, and treatment plan in action are all things that make the move so exciting. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s catch up what happened over the weekend.
As planned, family made it in to town on Saturday and Ren was able to meet his aunt and uncle and say hello to his cousins. There were a few tears shed when it was annouced that children under 15 that aren’t siblings could not enter the NICU, but we were able to carry Ren over to the glass several times so that Mia and Jack could get a good look at the their little cousin that they have been so excited about since learning that he was in Devona’s belly. We were even able to get a couple of pictures of them all together that I will include below. This is a good point to let everyone know that I will continue to post pictures here and there, but I am also creating a separate page on the blog called Photos that will have an abundance of pics, and another called Videos where, you guessed it, will have links to lots of videos of Ren. From the home page, these will be accessible at the top left of the page where About and Contact are located.
Weekends are usually pretty uneventful and focused on getting rest, good feedings, and some physical therapy. This weekend’s biggest achievement was Ren getting back to his birth weight by 2 weeks, right on schedule. Momma’s milk is doing its magic and giving Ren everything he needs to grow big and strong.
Well, things just started moving quickly and we are making our move at noon so I have to run, but I have uploaded a couple of short videos to the Video page as well as a shot of Ren with his cousins on the Photo page. Talk to everyone soon!

I am so happy to read these updates and that everything keeps getting better and truckin along! Such fantastic news!
